Before You Begin

Check Device Compatibility

Your device must support eSIM technology

Stable Internet Connection

Connect to WiFi for eSIM download

Have QR Code Ready

Check your email for the eSIM QR code

Device Not Carrier Locked

Your phone must be unlocked

iPhone Installation Steps

For iOS 12 and later

Open Settings

Tap on the Settings app on your iPhone home screen

Location: Settings icon (gray gear) on home screen

Tip: Ensure you're connected to WiFi before proceeding

Go to Cellular

Tap on "Cellular" or "Mobile Data" in Settings

Path: Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data

Note: Option name may vary by region

Add Cellular Plan

Tap on "Add Cellular Plan" or "Add eSIM"

Look for: "Add Cellular Plan" button at the bottom

Alternative: "Add Data Plan" on some iOS versions

Scan QR Code

Use your camera to scan the QR code sent to your email

Email: Check your inbox for QuikSim eSIM email

Camera: Position QR code within the frame

Manual Entry: Can also enter code manually if needed

Label Your eSIM

Give your eSIM a name (e.g., "Travel", "QuikSim")

Purpose: Helps identify which SIM to use for data

Example: "Travel Data", "International", "QuikSim USA"

Next Steps:

Before Travel: Keep eSIM turned OFF

At Destination: Turn ON eSIM & Data Roaming

Auto-Connect: Network will connect automatically

Troubleshooting

QR Code Not Scanning?

Solution: Try entering the activation code manually. Go to "Enter Details Manually" and type the code provided in your email.

eSIM Not Activating?

Solution: Ensure you're in the destination country. eSIM activates when it first connects to the local network. Check that Data Roaming is enabled.

No Network Signal?

Solution: Toggle Airplane Mode on/off, restart your device, or manually select a network in Settings → Cellular → Network Selection.

Can't Add Cellular Plan?

Solution: Verify your device is carrier unlocked and supports eSIM. Contact your original carrier if needed to unlock your device.
